I have a class about the basic ideas of mindfulness meditation. I have to bring in a centerpiece for our room having to do with non-striving. I have some alright ideas but was wondering if anyone has something that will really strike me. It can be anything, flowers pictures a printed out poem. It has to fit on a tapestry sized area. My husband is up for a new job and I am praying like crazy…. My best friend swears by Feng Shui and she’s doing really well. I have books and have seen websites. I have recently started reading about Feng Shui and learned that our kitchen is in the worst part of the house (Northwest) and that a kitchen should never be red (ours is cranberry red). I really don’t want to repaint our kitchen white but am open to other colors that are good Feng Shui for attracting good luck, prosperity, wealth, etc.

Any suggestions? Please list how long you have been interested in Feng Shui and why you are suggesting the color you are.

Hi. Where can I find a feng shui consultant to do an online consultation for a reasonable fee? I need to rearrange my house a certain way to be more harmonize and better energy flow and my home office needs to be worked on more and I have books on feng shui but I don’t know how to apply them very well. I need help in finding an online feng shui expert to reduce the cost of the consultation that can look at my floor plan and digital pictures of my house and give me suggestions on how to rearrange things. If you can give me websites of these professionals/companies that would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

the beams are on the ceiling and run throughout the width of the screened in part of the outdoors family room. there are about 8 beams in all, AND there are at least 2 beams that run perpendicularly to the 8. AND a central supporting pillar.

I’ve attempted to "cure" the pillar by draping it with a gauzy curtain and a decorative line of papier mache. and "attempted" to cure the beams by hanging a bunch of paper asian "party lamps (no light)" off of most of the beams. and a wooden wind chime. it still seems sort of "wrong".
any advice?

nobody uses the room, i think because of bad feng shui. need more cures i guess.

I have made them out of keys, spoons, etc. What did you use to make your wind chimes? Also have you ever made anything else to put in the garden to enjoy? What do you find peaceful, or like best in your in your garden? Thanks in advance.
