My sad story in short : severely abused ( in many ways ) since birth up to my late teens by both parents and relative , suffered like hell , was a walking zombie most of the time and now am ready to heal but can’t afford therapy . Now i’m 25 , alone but feelin brave enuff to face up to my issues .
So below is the list of practices that i think could get me out of this deep and dark tunnel that i am in .
1) Zen meditation and mindfulness ( i admit i’m not discipline enuff to do it everyday tho LoL)
2) EFT -emotional freedom . I’m new to this , but seems to be working .
3) I’ve downloaded Brain Sync’s brainwave CD’s in the hope of reprogramming my mind .
What is missing ? Any opinions ?
thanks
I also plan on doing EMDR which i heard work wonders once i have the money for it

I bought a FullMetal Alchemist pocket watch at an anime convention in September, and it’s not working… I’ve tried winding the top spinner thing, and it doesn’t seem to be winding it the way it should. It didn’t come with a key, and it doesn’t look like it even needs a key. (i.e., there’s no hole to put a key into it, anywhere) Is there a way I can still do it myself, or should I go risk having to pay money for some professional to help me?
… I honestly don’t know if it’s battery operated or not… I don’t know how to find out, and it didn’t come with any sort of instructions, either. Is there a way to tell if it is battery-operated?
Sorry if I seem like a complete idiot… ^_^;;

My mom’s birthday is coming up, and I have no idea what to get for her. I always find it hard to get gifts for parents since they are the ones with the money (just kidding). But really my mom seems to have averything she wants, and she didn’t give me any clue when i asked. For the past few years I’ve made things, or gotten a nice perfume, and last mothers day I got her a nice wind chime that she loved, since she likes to garden.
Any ideas based on what I’ve said? also, I’m a poor college student, so something not too pricey!

well this will be long but please don’t let it discourage you from helping…
well,it all started a few years ago in 7th grade,i stole a part of a xylophone
since then i have stolen
-money
-a part of a wind chime (one of the bars)
-another bar from a xylophone
-a pair of finger cymbals
-a stick to play a triangle
and most recently,an ipod nano.
im scared for myself…it all was like a nightmare,i just realized a few minutes ago that i really did it,i know i need help but i can’t tell my parents, they’ve had to deal with my mental problems for awhile and i’ve been doing good so i thought i’d give them a break.
but i feel horrible, and worst,i think someone knows i took it,i wanna be the first doctor in my family and i can’t do that if im in prison before i even graduate.
what should i do??

I am need of advice on how to use feng shui or any other tips to make my father move out of mine and my husband’s house. He has been here too long and doesn’t not seem to have any notion to leave. He is retired and says he just wants to be around us! His stay is getting bothersome to us but we do not want to hurt his feelings. I was hoping there was some feng shui cure for this but can’t seem to find any. And we are in the process of trying to sell our house, so the feng shui correction can not interfere with that.
Thanks!
I just want to add that my father is healthy and has retired with a good deal of money. He does not "need" to stay with us. He can easliy afford something close to us. We love him dearly but as an adult, you move out of your parents house and you don’t expect them to move back in with you - especially since he does not need to be cared for. It puts a strain on our marriage (only 4 years married) because we sometimes have no time to ourselves. I just want some advice on how to help him understand that we need our space too!
For those of you who feel sorry for my dad that I feel this way, you should know one more thing…
He does not help out with money, groceries or anything but expects me to cook and clean for him. He also sits out back of my house almost every day and just drinks beer - sometimes 12 a day. Now, I have 3 children - 12, 3 and 5 months and this is something that I don’t want them exposed to. My dad can’t even help babysit if I need to do something because he typically has already had too many beers.
