Does anyone know if this is This Kleptomania?
well this will be long but please don’t let it discourage you from helping…
well,it all started a few years ago in 7th grade,i stole a part of a xylophone
since then i have stolen
-money
-a part of a wind chime (one of the bars)
-another bar from a xylophone
-a pair of finger cymbals
-a stick to play a triangle
and most recently,an ipod nano.
im scared for myself…it all was like a nightmare,i just realized a few minutes ago that i really did it,i know i need help but i can’t tell my parents,they’ve had to deal with my mental problems for awhile and i’ve been doing good so i thought i’d give them a break.
but i feel horrible,and worst,i think someone knows i took it,i wanna be the first doctor in my family and i can’t do that if im in prison before i even graduate.
what should i do??

Are you old enough to get therapy on your own? Keptomania is stealing things that you have no use for. It is a sort of adrenaline rush and becomes addictive. Can you talk to a school counselor. You have good ambitions, but it you keep this up you will be arrested one of these times. That will prevent you from having the career you want. Please you need to get help, it doesn’t get better it gets worse without help. This is worth telling your parents about even though they have dealt with issues. Your life is most important and your problem may affect it.
Chill. Just stop. If possible give the ipod back. Claim to have found it. Make this right.
Try will power. Think how proud of yourself you would be if you beat this yourself. If you see that will power is not enough, seek help. It’s best.
Stop yourself before you end up in hot water.
Be a one man band,go busking and donate the money to charity.
